I think it’s a curse to be right on the water front. It’s a 20 minute walk or $10 cab ride over to Nicco’s. You’ll be supporting the same people and have a much better experience.Don’t get me wrong. The staff is wonderful at SWF. The menu is just a little too blue hair for my tastes. Especially at the $$$$.

Homemade pasta!. Great homemade pasta. Delicious olive bread with rich olive oil. Caprese salad was awesome. Seems to be a popular after work hangout as the bar was full on a Tuesday. A group of super fancy chicks came in who made me doublecheck that it was indeed still just … Tuesday. 😉 The bar staff was very nice.
Great Italian food. Always a chance to see a Boston celeb or sports star eating here.
Romantic, Elegant and Comfortable are 3 words I would describe my experience. The staff was attentive, friendly, and couldn’t do enough for us! The food was excellent and wanting to come back for more. This is a great place to bring your wife or girlfriend for a nice romantic dinner and by the looks of the large parties that were there (on a Wednesday night mind you) a great place for an office party
