Saw this and walked back to this place to give it a try. In a lifelong quest to to find a lobster roll that did not disappoint this is the first place that succeeded. We had hot lobster roll and if was packet full of what i wanted. Just lobster drawn in butter. I knew they existed. I’ll be back.
Went the traditional lobster roll and crab cakes. While the lobster roll was nice, the crab cakes were rather bland and needed either some chilli or spice to liven them up.Bit disorganised service inside, would be compounded when it’s very busy.
Yummy lobster . Super easy to get every morsel out and for those who have no idea ( like me) the yellow liquid in the tiny Tupperware is butter! Great fries. Really quick and efficient service, I would comment that it’s a little overpriced. 29 bucks for 1 and a half pound lobster and fries with no real service but a bucket load of authenticity and quick turnaround. Will def return for quick lobster and next time I’ll try the hot roll
Wow! Really Good Food and Service. I grew up in Boston, so much has changed yet so much has remained the same. Good seafood is a constant and Yankee Lobster delivered. We went there for lunch in between grad ceremonies at the Boston Convention Center. Had some folks in from out of the Boston area and they wanted to experience the uniqueness of New England and Boston. Lobster Rolls and Chowder hit the mark. My family absolutely loved it. The service was great and the seafood was on point. If you’re in town yeah you gotta go here . You won’t be disappointed.
Delicious seafood goodness! Yankee Lobster is a straightforward and simple place. Fresh seafood. The lobster chowder is rich, creamy, and full of lobster. The fish and chips are perfect. Crisp batter on fresh fish. There’s also a good selection of local beer.
Had the hot lobster roll with fries and cole slaw. Fries were great and the slaw was very good. The lobster was perfectly seasoned and tasted good, however, it was very chewy and somewhat tough. Overall it was not worth the $25 price.
