Not a whole lot to write about this place. Ordinary service, okay food and a little awkward location. Went there with many colleagues. So not sure how it will be if I went alone.
Hands down the worst dining experience that I have had in a long time. Not only was our waitress incredibly rude, but when I asked the manager if we could have a different server he came to the table and lectured us on how much we can drink in an hour at the restaurant. None of us were drunk, all of us are well over the age of 21, and he essentially came back to blame us for his staff’s behavior. I wouldnt come here again if you paid me. We left, but not before the manager was politely confronted. As you can imagine, he didnt respond in kind.

The past couple years have had ups and downs – food lacking flavor – service lacking personality – we ALWAYS returned – but… I never cared because I loved this place so much. Till tonight. And the rude bartender who was SO self absorbed, rude and misguided. Terrible drinks. Terrible attitude. Terrible judgement. I thought I was in his gym. All I can say is… gross, gross, gross. Never will I return to 3 after over 8 years of LOVING this restaurant… good luck and good riddens. Try In Contro up the road… That is where I will try next.
Don’t go. Our second bad experience at 3. First time the food took 1.5 hrs to arrive and the lids were a mess. This time they served me gluten ( I am celiac). Bad, Bad.
The meal was ok. Over priced for what I got. The lobster mac-n-cheese could have been cooked more. Not that it was raw but golden or crunch was expected especially since the breading wasn’t even toasted. The host actually was going table to table helping frustrated people and the meals. I nor my guest made any requests as we wanted to vacate to get something more enjoyable. The atmosphere was very nice and bar was also wonderful. I wont go back for a meal but will go with some employees / clients.
Not recommended. I had a bad experience at this restaurant.
I went to 3 about year ago with some friends since i’ve been wanting to go back and I was not disappointed. The food is delicious. They give nice portions. I had the pancetta shrimp & scallop risoto OMG!!!! I couldn’t stop eating. For desert chocolate cake you can feed 4 people with that. I know I’ve gain 15pounds but it was worth it.
