Wow!. I have eaten here three times now since it opened, the last two trips I ordered the chef’s menu without a second thought. Never have I visited a restaurant three times, eaten different meals each time, and been blown away by the quality and taste each time. Plop Viera down in Manhattan and this chef instantly becomes a star. Oysters were served two ways with very creative and refreshingly light flavors added. Quail, Short rib, scallops, crab cakes – everything was a little unique, perfectly prepared and fantastically tasteful. Very tough to pick a favorite dish, but I’m including a picture here of the black garlic pasta with littlenecks, pork belly and sambuca butter. Divine. If you like food and are on the Cape this summer, you cannot miss Viera.
You have to try this amazing new restaurant in West Harwich on Cape Cod!. My wife and I eat out a LOT and I would describe us as fairly fussy. We like many of the restaurants on Cape Cod but we absolutely loved Viera! My cousins wife knows the owners and asked us to join them for dinner. The crab cake appetizer was very good, the Sauted Cape Sea Scallops were easily the best I have ever had in my life and the chocolate cake with homemade ice cream was outstanding! My wife had a great Spring Vegetable Salad and the Spice Roasted Pork Tenderloin was tender and delicious. My cousin and his wife love the Slow Braised Pineland Farms Short Ribs which I will be trying next time we go which will be soon. The service and atmosphere was great and you can tell that the owners take a lot of pride in their new restaurant as well as the food that they create. My understanding is that they make everything from scratch and the results are well worth the trip. Check this link out for more info: http://capecod.wickedlocal.com/article/20140418/News/140416028
