The sub shop has opened an adjoining space called the Pub on the Common. It’s nothing fancy, but they make a great burger and the beer list is pretty good. My son had a half pound burger with mushrooms, grilled onions, blue cheese, and about five pieces of bacon. My wife had the steak tips, which were tasty and tender. My fish sandwich had a generous piece of lightly breaded fish. The sides were all solid: side salad, onion rings, sweet potato fries, cole slaw.If you’re looking for a local spot to grab a bite and catch the game on TV, this could be the place!
Has gone down hill. Was a great pizza & sub shop when we moved to town 19 yrs ago, but not anymore. 2 hour in town delivery for a large pizza on an uneventful Friday nite in February.
In 2010 something changed and all the portion sizes dramatically decreased, the prices increased and the quality and order accuracy went into the toilet. Unfortunately because this used to be out 2nd kitchen. We used to eat there two and three times a week. Now were lucky to buy an emergency pizza from time to time. I wonder of it was sold or the owner got some bad advice.
Good service put on coffee for us. Good turkey sub and buffalo chicken salad. Sub could have used more mayo
