Absolute disappointment. Went here on a weekday evening for dinner. We were 3 of us and the furnishings and decor inside the restaurant looked promising for a good experience. 3 out of 4 dishes were terrible. Also, they were out of Herb Brick Chicken which I was informed after I placed the order.Don’t Try: Blackened chicken pasta, Butternut Squash Ravioli, and Bistro Burger (Overdone and Dry)Must Try: BBQ Pork Shanks
Great Hidden Bistro. Upscale bistro is hidden across the street from one of the parking garages near downtown Malden. The dimly light bar is in the middle of the restaurant with booths facing out to the street. The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful with the menu. For appetizers, hot eggplant was served on a piece of bread with mushroom and spinach on the top. Bruschetta with goat cheese, tomato and red onions was fantastic. For dinner, the lobster mac and cheese had a great mix of cheeses after you get past the buttery top. Seared scallops were grilled perfectly sitting on top of lobster ravioli that had a nice mix of lobster and ricotta. Warm apple crisp finished off the meal but was a small portion for the price. While appetizers and main course was priced fairly, the desserts were overpriced. Parking is available across the street.
