Excellent Italian Food. We tried Jack’s after seeing it on the Phantom Gourmet, it was a repeat, and we were glad it replayed, not seeing it the first time. The atmosphere is lovely and the waitstaff, very friendly, as was Jack who introduced himself to our party. We ordered the lasagna, which was huge in size, and also in flavor with a nice meat sauce.We also tried the steak tips full of flavor, not sure what they were marinated in but definitly worth a try.We also tried the vinagar pork chops with peppers and roasted poatoes, huge portions and wonderful flavor. We definitly will be going back to see Jack, and the portions and prices, are worth going back, and you also get your choice of soup or salad with you meal, the chicken escarole soup was full of chicken and great flavor. So go out and try Jack’s, great prices, great food, and a friendly atmosphere, you wil not be disapointed!!!!
Dixie cup Dbag. For a place that has only been open less than a year, the staff and owner have the attitude of a well established pillar of the community type restaurant. I ordered a mixed drink which the waitress seved in a glass that makes a dixie cup look like a hot tub. I asked the waitress to only transfer the contents of my existing drink into a larger glass adding only a little more ice and orange juice but no additional liquor. This mere request ignited a firestorm of problems involving everyone from the manager to the dishwasher. After all was said and done my request was refused, I promised to NEVER spend another penny in there and to let as many people as i can reach know that this place sucks, not because of the food, because of the ignorant service!
