Rude owner/down hill food. Bobs has gone down my steak fries where not cooked and my chicken parm was under cooked , prices went up ,the owner is in denial when you put a complaint in instead of being concerned ! no more will I go here
Groceria Italian Gourmet Butcher…. Bob’s is small but what you get when you walk in the door is far from tiny. Think big flavor, portions and appetite to match. Quality? THE BEST. Better than most Italian food at Boston’s finest restaurants but more affordable and take-out only. Go for the fresh meats, deli and pasta to cook at home, while you’re there buy a sandwich like steak&cheese or chicken parm you won’t be sorry! Deliciousness abounding at Bob’s.
THE MECCA !. Bob’s is the best !!! Wow , the small meatball is a meal in itself smothered with the best sauce going on 3 giant mouth watering meatballs. The cheese steak & steak tips are incredible and all the cold cuts are high quality and the freshest around. The chicken cutlet are all hand breaded and is the sub that made Bob’s famous. Have a jumbo and then find some place to take a nap. it’s always busy but the line moves quick and there is a sea of RED shirted Bob’s workers to take your order and get you out the door. Also check out the butcher counter in the back for steak tips, burgers, turkey tips, ribs, all sold by the pound. Italian meals cooked to order at the front . WOW THIS IS THE MECCA.
Oh My God. I have never been so full after eating HALF a sub. Chicken parm is amazing. Hot and spicy wings are amazing. Can’t beat the price…sooo full.
Best Italian Ever. I just moved away from Boston and the thing I miss the most is Bob’s Food. It was right down the road from where I lived and I used to run down there to pick up a hot Italian sandwich when I didn’t want to cook. There is NOTHING like their frozen ravioli. Totally worth the price. Check out the lobster filled and the spinach filled – awesome.
Awesome. Absolutely the best chicken parm sandwich in Boston area. Worth the drive to Medford. Everything is good and the prices are also reasonable.
Bob’s is better than the North End!. I love going here for lunch when I’m driving back to the city, it’s right off 93 and well worth the stop. HUGE chicken parm subs and steak tips. When my Italian mother-in-law visits she insists on Bob’s Prosciutto di Parma and says she’d rather shop and eat there than anyplace in the North End, Italian deli and grocery+++ YUMMY. I agree! The ziti with chicken and broccoli for catering is great too. Can’t say enough good things about this place now, too hungry to type any more!
