Poor service, fair food. This place is always busy though since it’s next to Tufts University and one of the few places to eat in the area. Stick to the cakes and pastries, because the lunch selections aren’t very satisfying. krismlars.com
Just got the mushroom crepe and it was disgusting. The crepe was gluey and filled with raw green peppers, unmelted cheese, and overdressed salad (!). If you eat here, avoid the crepes.
OMG This place is wonderful.. There are a bunch of pastry/bakery places around Medford, and I assumed this was just another… until I came inside. First of all, it has a great ambiance. Second, they have very detailed pastry constructions — great care and precision. For example, you can get an insanely detailed marzipan pig (well, for $8), complete with a little plod of land, grass, etc. My toddler loves it.They also have smoothies, and chocolates. And the fruit used in the smoothies is actually visible, unlike most places. If they just had tart frozen yogurt I think they’d have every dessert I’d want. They also have sandwiches/soup, but I haven’t tried them.
