I tried by the pound and got chicken, pork, lamb and pineapple along with black beans, greens and broccoli all for $8.21. Wow nice deal. The BBQ are and buffet leaves people bumping butts as they are just too close. The food was as good as many Brazilian places. Good enough to come back again.
Great Brazilian Food on a Budget. I’ve wanted to try Brazilian chiascurria for a long time, but have always been put off by the huge price of the fancier chain outfits. This little restaurant is about as far from that experience as possible, I imagine, but it was so good and authentic and affordable! One can order off the menu, or help oneself to the plentiful buffet. There are 2 ways to pay for the buffet – either by weight, or an all-you-can-eat price. We decided to do the latter since it was our first time there.The rotisserie grilled meats – there are many to choose from! Pork and chicken sausages, beef top sirloin, pork ribs, assorted chicken parts (including hearts – I passed on these, thank you!), lamb and beef with garlic.On the buffet were several hot stews, including braised beef ribs and yucca, and chicken with okra. My companion liked the fried fish fillets, and we both enjoyed the fried yucca, plantains, rice and 2 styles of beans. This is not an inclusive list of the items on the buffet, just the ones we tried!I am sad that we live across the country and have no way of knowing when we will get to sample it again.
