It was the best of buns, it was the worst of buns. The olive oil brioche comes in two permutations at Snappy Patty’s, depending on whether you’re going for the standard sliders or the full-sized/brunch-sized patty. They’re like challah and that flavor, along with the griddling, is the highlight of the mini sandwich even if the tiny patty gets a little lost. With the larger patties the bun is even more formidable (chewier, denser, higher of ratio), to the extent that it’s a major distraction. The toppings and condiments all work well on all of the burgers. The beef is neither a plus or a minus. The fries are a little on the limp side but have a fresh, potatoey taste and ample seasoning. Service is fantastic. I like Snappy Patty’s, but I like the sliders better than the larger burgers, even thoughmy usual preference isthe other way around. pigtrip.net
Braised Rabbit. Rabbit with roasted Brussels sprouts, parsnip, carrots & Mostarda sauce.12 Jan, 2015Yummy for $19. Ordered Braised Rabbit with Brussels Sprouts and Root Vegetables. Dish was served warm/hot! Seasoned with a light mostarda and berry sauce. The rabbit melted in my mouth like Chinese chicken wing, but was very lean. The combination of duck, vegetables and sauces were spot on for a flavor combination!12 Jan, 2015Braised Rabbit. $19
