This is one of my favorite places to go is Whole Foods. The Medford location has one of the largest selections of fruits and veggies. The hot bar here is also a good size. The prepared foods is a bit smaller than some of the other local Whole Foods. Did you know you could get a dinner called: Blue Plate Special for $11? It includes a piece of chicken or turkey and two sides. I also priced the eggs here today and they were less than Stop and Shop. I am often told that Whole Foods is more money, but most items I buy are much less than the competition. The shrimp dish I poste cost: $5 uncooked shrimp, $2 potatoes and $2 for Kale. There are some incidentals I used which were 2 TBS of chopped onion, 2 TBS of chopped pepper and 2 TBS of the Peach Whiskey Sauce. The other salad with the chicken sausage was only about $2 for the chicken sausage. Also, I am torn between coffee here and coffee at Starbucks! Ask for a frequent coffee club card!
