  They Do Not Know Customer Service. We went to Chim Thai based on a friend’s recommendation. One entree we ordered was Ginger fish which was supposed to be off the bone. The fish arrived full of bones and smelling awful, like fish that was standing around. We called the manager over and proceeded to explain that we were not satisfied with the fish and that the menu stated that it was to be de-boned. She came over and stated that is how the fish is served and did not offer any help in asking, if we wanted something else or to take it back to the kitchen. She just walked away with a huff and no resolution to our dissatisfaction. We subsequently called the waiter over and asked him to send the fish back to the kitchen. He did without offering us anything else to substitute for the dish we disliked. We finished the other food and asked for the check. To our surprise they still charged us for the fish although it was discounted 50% off. We stated that we sent the food back promptly. He stated we should have sent it back in the first five minutes. He was not around so we had to speak with the manger who did nothing. We stated that we are not going to pay for the entree we were dissatisfied with. He said we had to, since the owner would deduct the price from his pay. He further stated that he went to the Cheesecake factory had a problem with his meal and was still charged. He kept insisting we had to pay. Never did the manager come over to resolve the problem. We finally put down money on the table for what we ate and left. Although what we ate we enjoyed, the customer service was atrocious. They did not try to make the situation right. We would have gone back, if they did. Now we will tell others not to go there. Poor business decision on their part which cost them more than the price of the inedible fish.

  This restaurant is elegant inside with dishes beautifully presented and delicious to eat. Diverse and interesting menu including a few Koren dishes.
