  We Love Beth’s. I’m reading to 2 reviews ahead of mine and this does NOT sound like the Beth’s that I know. My husband I have been eating at Beth’s for years and most of the time it’s 2 or 3 times a week ! She DOES get very busy at times and we’ve had to wait but never has anyone there had an attitude with us. We are always greeted with smiles and the service is usually very good. I think it’s a very welcome, casual and homey atmosphere. We enjoy all of her food to this day. She has had a few new girls start recently as waitresses so sometimes they just need to be given a chance. I will still continue to eat at Beth’s and enjoy the yummy perfectly cooked burgers, great fish & chips , and delicious sandiches and salads too. And IF you have room ….get dessert !! They are wonderful.

  Horrible experience. I have been to Beths a few times and while was not a fan at all of their lunch fare, their breakfast isn’t bad. Went today with my daughter and nephew and had a horrible experience. Sat ourselves, table was not wiped down. Waited for waitress to come wipe down and she didn’t. No big deal, just wiped it myself. She came over and gave us one menu for 3 of us. Brought our drinks and we did not hear from her again until after 30 minutes I asked another waitress to grab ours. Told her we had to leave by a certain time and needed to know if the food was almost done, if they had started. She went and checked and said it was almost done just a few mins. We waited almost 15 more minutes before we got up to leave. Told our waitress I would pay for the kiddos milk but we did not have any more time to wait. They both continued to tell me the food was almost ready and if I wanted to take it to go. Normally I would have just said absolutely not, but the kiddos were hungry. I said if they could get it packed in 2 minutes then I would take it. They billed me in full and when the waitress couldn’t figure out how to swipe my card, she complained to me that she could not get my card to swipe with an attitude. Finally she turned it around and it went through. She was not a good waitress at all, young and rude. There was no apologies and no discount offered at any time. I asked when her manager/owner was in and she said she wasn’t here today. I asked again when she would be here. She told me tomorrow (they’re closed tomorrow). Then proceeded to tell me that the owners son was in back cooking. That actually made it worse for me that he thought it was acceptable. It was not just my food that was late, 3 tables around me got up several times to complain. We waited 45 minutes before we ended getting up to leave. It was not that busy either, our food was simple. Eggs, pancakes, bacon. The female cook had the biggest puss on her face and had a huge attitude with the waitresses. The bus boy walked slowly and stood around as did our waitress. I will say the other waitress was very attentive to her tables, even apologizing for the delay. I expected at the very least to have our waitress checking on us. Not once did she. We ate at home. The kids did like the pancakes, but the bacon was obviously microwaved. :/ I will not go back again.

  Terrible resturant!!!. Went there last nite and it was AWFULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we got there around 5:30. the waitress was VERY NICE . placed our order about ten mins later. we waited till 6:45 and we were told we would have our order in about 10 mins. i was furious and i politely told the waitress we DID NOT want the food just the check for the salad and coffee my husband had and we were leaving. the ONWER who also cooks was told and she got VERY angry and told the waitress to tell us NOT TO COME BACK!! she was loud (owner) so most of the other patrons could hear it.another group near us waited just as long to get there omade me very angry was a family came in after us and had there order and we still hadnt received ours!!! the OWNER was VERYYYYYYYYYYYY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! will never go back and i will let other local town ppl know VERYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY DISSATIFIED customer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sue gross
