I ate dinner at Arno’s with three other people. We had appetizers, drinks and dinner. The food and service were quite good. The salmon special was a big hit. Overall we all thought it was a great dinner. Only afterward did I see any negative reviews but my experience was very good and I do recommend Arno’s.
Lunch was mediocre. There are too many great places on Nantucket to waste time here.
Stay Away!. I have been told not to go to Arnos but never knew why, now I do! My family has owned homes on Nantucket for 50 years and I finally decided to give it a shot over memorial day weekend. Bad mistake. The food at lunch was mediocre at best. When I complained that I had been charged an additional 4.99 for some extra lettuce for my $16 salad without being informed that there would be an extra charge, I was was asked to leave and never come back. I KID YOU NOT!!! The manager was NUTS (not to mention really rude)!!!!Nantucket has some lovely eateries. This is not one of them, no matter how convenient the location.
