The donuts here are yummy, especially if you are lucky enough to arrive as the donuts are being made. The warm chocolate donuts do tend to be messy ( how could they not be?), and I’ve found the best way is when they are packed in rows facing each other. I’ve never had a problem with a little sticky icing! The best idea is just to eat them as soon as you can…like on the way home!
Good, but…… The donuts are good here–we just picked up a dozen, still warm. BUT they placed the chocolate donuts on the bottom of the box, added a layer of wax paper, then the other donuts on top. Result: by the time we arrived home the chocolate frosting had all melted off and stuck to the wax paper. They should have known better. Watch them box up your order and don’t let them ruin your chocolate donuts the same way!

Expect to wait 15 or 20 minutes on a Saturday morning, it’s worth it though. The sugared and chocolate donuts are a must! They were still hot when we got them. Outstanding orange juice tasted freshly squeezed and the coffee was good enough to liner over. Friendly personable service and good food make this spots must.
Holy doughnuts. I’ve never eaten any ‘real food’ here, but we take the doughnuts out by the box every year and they can’t be missed on any trip to ACK.
