Where’s the rest of my food?. Spent $80 on brunch and stopped at Fooods for a sandwich on the way home. I mean, it was good and I understand that it isn’t a place where one straps on the figurative feed bag, but c’mon! The cookies that were the final course were excellent. The scenery is unparalled, but unless you are Kate Moss, skip it.
YUM. My favorite special occasion restaurant, Kudos’s to Chef Kyle Zachary! The wine list is the best I have ever seen with many selections under $50 and more under $75 and $100. The best part is Cellar Master Craig Hanna and his staff will effortlessly educate you and not up sell you. They are the only restaurant on Nantucket that has a complete vegetarian tasting menu. The dinning room is gorgeous, romantic and magical. Also the $49 three course which ended up being 5 course price fix menu’ with an amuse bushe and chocolates and truffles sent out pre dessert. This allows you a great value and the ability to try new things. And free transportation is provided from the center of town out to this beautiful spot. Best tip! Make reservations. Take the free jitney and dine early to take in the sunset, enjoy a special bottle and save room for dessert as chef Giancarlo D’Attili’s souffl and home made ice cream is to die for!!!! Then take the van back. Best value ever when you figure in all you get up front as this is a priceless experience.
