The Soup That Eats Like a Meal. You have to try the Manchupa soup! It is to die for. It is a very thick soup made with white beans and cornmeal and has chucks of ham in it. It is so good as is everything at Central Kitchen. It is not in a great part of town but if you feel daring you will not be disappointed.
Tasty New England/Cape Verdean fare. My favorite here is the tuna steak. They rival most other restaurant’s beef steaks in size & are grilled to perfection & served with a heaping pile of jag (Cape Verdean beans & rice). They’re fried scallops are gargantuan compared to what is served up at most other restaurants I’ve been to. They’re beef & tuna pastel are also excellent & are personal faves.
