Blah. Not particularly good….had a haddock plate last week for lunch…arrived bathed in a ketchupy sauce….seemed like it was left over from the pizza….fish and chips were so, so….you can do better elsewhere for a lot less money.
Crab scrod was very good , steak tips tasty, shrimp had ammonia taste. & is very very loud in there. Will go again but not on the top favorite list.
AWFUL I’d rather eat paste. This was truly the worst scrod with breadcrumbs and lobster sauce i’ve ever eaten. I would’ve rather had a Filet O Fish as it has more flavor. My husband ordered the pan seared steak and albeit the flavor was excellent he ordered medium rare and got a well done to be nice but really a BURNT steak. $90 for a meal that McDonalds does better every day for less than $10. I WOULD NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN. IIIIIICCCCCCHHHHHHH
Had the lunch clam plate, wasn’t bad but kind of light on the clams.although it was only 7 dollars, I was expecting at least a half a dozen clams or a few more, not 4. French fries and the coleslaw was good,didn’t care for the tarter sauce.service was okay, it was a free meal,my brother took me out for lunch,so I guess it was good, I would go back, try something different.you would think with the owner owning fishing boats in a fish house it would be plentiful portions. Although looking at the size of him,thats probably where its all going to.
SOOOOO BAD!!!!!!!!!. Its too bad! They have the location. Do they read these? Food sucks! How much do you save with a DJ over a band? Let me tell you how much. NOTHING! In fact you loose $100s Pay a band 4-6 hundred and fill the place. Create a buzz! Or pay a crappy DJ $150 to play The Funky Cole Medina too loud and scare everyone away. Get a real chef or your going down.
Don’t bother. Went back again to have mussells which were pretty good on the previous trip. This time the batch came out smelling foul.. Sent them back . Even the waiter knew they smelled bad.. They took them back and brought out another batch… Just as bad. REALLY people,, you own a fish market… Do you not know when seafood is bad.. The smell is the first CLUE.. The problem is they are CLUELESS.. Our friend went the other night and said he had the worse meal ever… The problem is most people don’t say anything. He didn’t, he just told us that he’d never go back again.. We too will NEVER go back again. They’ve been told and don’t bother doing anything about the complaints… It’s just a matter of time before the word is out there enough.. STAY AWAY !!
GREAT!. Under new management since July 2011. Deck is very busy during the summer months, because everyone wants a turn out there… It’s not a real big place and they do their best to accommodate everyone. Food is Amazing and service has significantly improved!! Anyone who was disappointed their last visit should definitely give it another try!! 🙂
