My favorite New Bedford restaurant! I was only introduced to this place a year ago and I’ve already been here a dozen times. I always order a different dish every time I come here and each and every one was delicious and inexpensive. I got the surf and turf for $17 last time I was there – yes surf and turf with filet mignon and baked stuff shrimp for $17 and it was more than pleasing. The calamari appetizer is another one of my favorites here. I reccommend this restaurant to everyone!

Impressed. I have dined here twice in the last few weeks, both times the food was delicious. I have tried the baked haddock and scallops, the bruschetta and and clam chowder, very fresh and cooked perfectly. The service is friendly and offers the right amount of attentiveness. I am very satisfied and will continue to dine here. P.S. it is also a nice part of town to walk around in i.e. near the whaling museum and there are lots of cool shops.

Lovely setting in an old building in New Bedford’s historic district. We’ve only been here for lunch because we come here when at the Whaling Museum or antique co-ops. Comfortable atmosphere with lots to look at, quiet enough to hear but noisy enough for privacy, great food (the appetizers make a meal, the salads are huge but so good you’ll try to eat it all), the waitstaff helpful but not intrusive or chatty. Greatvariety on their menu. Give it a try – you’ll like it, I promise.

A New Bedford Classic. Great food and Sandwiches. The martini list is very extensive and quite creative. They do a good job with traditional New England dishes (fresh ingredients) but also add a flare of creativity.

Great decor and atmosphere, friendly waitstaff and overall good grub!
