  The food is good the service is good but the drinks…I ordered a Pearl Harbor extra green, it wasn’t, so I asked her to add more Midori, less vodka, they charged me $14. for a 2 liquor drink. That is $7. higher than anywhere else I get this. It is $6.95 at Olive Garden, very green. $7. at MIkes, so green and $7. at Fathoms , sometimes I eat at these places because they make great drinks. $14 for a Pearl Harbor is ridiculous so over priced. I did not complain as I do not know who did the extra charge just will never order a drink there again. And since I always get a couple of drinks when I dine out I will probably not go there again.

  We searched the internet for a restaurant in New Bedford for our first night and found that the reviews for many of them were iffy. Some reviews were horrible. We settled on Freestone’s as it seemed to have fewer negative reviews. The food was great! The wait staff was great. We had a short wait (Sunday night) for a table for two. I had the salmon with pineapple salsa and loved it. Very fresh, perfectly prepared, very tasty. Even the green beans were done perfectly (not usually the case as you know). My girlfriend had the scallops florentine and they were cooked perfectly (not always the case as you may know). I loved the restaurant and really liked the food.
