HI, I ALWAYS WENT TO RONNIE`S CAFE WITH A FRIEND OF MINE. WE WENT TO THE ONE ON ACUSHNET AVE. I WAS THERE LIKE 2-3 TIMES A WEEK. IT WAS ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO OR AROUND THAT LENGTH OF TIME. I REALLY ENJOYED IT THERE. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS WEIRD LIKE,WAS THAT THERE WASN`T PEOPLE THERE. IT WAS ALMOST EMPTY. WE STILL LIKED IT. I THOUGHT IT WAS AWSOME,IN MY OPINION. I MET SOMEONE THERE ALSO. REALLY NICE PERSON AND LOOKING TOO. LOL.. I NEVER GOT HIS NAME. THE ONLY THING I KNOW IS THAT HE HAD LONG CURLY HAIR (SHOULDER LENGHT).. HE`S PORTUGUES OF COARSE AND HE WAS STOCKING THE CASES AND BOXES OF THE LIQUOR. IT WAS IN THE BASEMENT,THAT IS WHERE THE RESTROOM WAS AND IT WAS WHERE I MET HIM. WE TALKED FOR LIKE 10 OR 15 MINUTES. I WENT BACK UP STAIRS,BECAUSE MY FRIEND WAS THERE WAITING. SO, I LOST MY EYESIGHT IN MY LEFT EYE AND I HAVE TUNNEL VISION IN MY RIGHT EYE. I HARDLY GO OUT. I WENT BY THERE ONE DAY AND IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS CLOSED DOWN. I NEVER HAD A CHANCE TO GET TO KNOW HIM BETTER. I WANT TO ASK IF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE KNOWS OF THIS PERSON ,PLEASE IF YOU COULD GIVE HIM THIS EMAIL ADDRESS. [email protected] I THANK YOU

I remember Ronnie’s from when i used to go in thereback in 1982 when i first went to New Bedford with mydaughter she’s 28 now still there i left there in 1992when i came to Florida.Mr.Roland had it then Ronniewas his son the drive in club was downstairs Leo Cayawas a bartender there as well as Carol Ann,skip. I haven’t been in there since 1992 when i left mass.iknow its still around though,i have friends that still go in there,its a good place people are nice. thansk for letting me write. sue orlando fl.
