Have been going to pedrins since I was very young. At 60 , I still eat there whenever I’m back in town. Can’t beat their onion rings or fish on a roll.
RETURNED IN 2009!!! LOVE IT!!. My name is Jim Cone and we use to go to Pedrins DairyBar in the late 60’s and through the mid 70’s We moved from North Adams when I was young so the only time we went to Pedrin’s is when we visited our Grandparents in Williamstown. You see we moved alot because my Father worked for alto of newspapers. So this past August we were in Bennington,VT for the parade whichwas on August 16th my birthday. We stayed in Bennington Vt Which is a hop skip and a jump from North Adams so I said to my Father wile we are in North Adams Let stop for lunch at Pedrin’s and so we did! It brought back alto of good times from the past. When we use to go there it had a swing set and mybe three or fourpicnic tables and they have alot more picnic tables now!13 Aug, 2009Pederin’s Dairy Bar. We have gone to the orignal Pedrin’s in North Adam’swhen Me my Brother and Sister were real young. This was in the late 60’s through the middle 70’s. WE would order our meals then they would call our number to get our food. They also had a swinf set for the kids to play on.We had a blast at this place when we were young, If youwant a good place for food go to Pedrin’s!!
New standard for onion rings. My husband and I went there on our way to the Sol LeWitt show at the MASS MoCA (which we highly recommend). Pedrin’s hamburgers were good and we enjoyed sitting at one of the colorful picnic tables under the trees. The standout for us was the onion rings. Perfectly battered and fried. They’ve taken over as the standard by which other onion rings will be measured. Definitely worth a trip.
