My husband and I took a friend who had come in from out of town to this restaurant, and it did not disappoint! A lot of places in Boston in the summer open their windows, and they don’t have air conditioning, but Artu does! My friend got the caprese salad, and it was really fresh and delicious! If I remember correctly, the pizza was to die for! I definitely recommend this place for those looking for a very modern restaurant with air conditioning and an awesome north end atmosphere!
What a marvelous find Artu was on a whim. As we walked the North End looking for a nice dinner, we passed places with lines out the door, NONE of which had the score Artu has. So we shied away from the crowds and ended up with some of the best Italian we could imagine along with service from great people that want you to enjoy yourself and the food. The bolognese is outstanding, and the chicken saltimbocca some of the best ever. If you want a window seat and mediocre food, go stand in line. If you want a superb Italian meal where you can make friends with the staff and enjoy the ambience of an upscale restaurant, walk around the corner to Artu.

Every expectation was exceeded. Server Anthony is knowledgable and thorough. Certainly a place to stop when in the North end.

Atmosphere was great but the service was awful. We waited approximately 20 minutes and the wait staff had not taken our drink order. We left – very disappointed.
