Overall Great Time and Food. One of the very few non-Italian restaurant in Boston’s North End, this trendy restaurant features a living room atmosphere up front and a full dinning experience. The Cheeseburger Dip was a over the top cheesy with small bits of hamburger and peppers mixed in. No condiments needed and the pieces of bread and pita were a nice fit. The large portion of Mussels Saganaki was under-priced and came in a nice broth of tomatoes and fennel. However, the buffalo chicken dumplings was overpriced with on five small wontons on the plate that was at supermarket quality. Dinner was reasonably priced. The Grilled Lemon Chicken was in fact very lemony and paired with a nice Orzo blended with spinach and feta. Hamburgers were big and the fresh rolls they were served on were even bigger. The service was missing in action from time to time but did pick up towards the end of dinner. The restaurant was spotless from the glasses chilling on ice up front to the dinning room. Parking is extremely difficult since it is the North End and can cost $14 depending on the lot unless you are lucky to find rare street parking. Overall, the experience at the Living Room was great and I highly recommend it.

The Living Room is honestly one of the best places in the North End/Waterfront area. The prices are reasonable and the selection of food and drink is endless. There are so many beers on tap (everything from $2.50 coors lights to Newcastle and guiness) The martini selection is huge as well and they all looked delicious. I have been in for Tuesday night trivia which is a blast. We get there early to snag a good seat and have half priced appetizers! The spin artichoke dip is a must, and the calamari and nachos were great as well. The bar scene is great on Thursday through Saturday nights and the brunch on Saturday and Sunday mornings is personally my favorite. The menu is so yummy and the brunch drinks really get your day started 🙂 always have good service, and a fun loving crowd in here. I highly recommend it!

My go to brunch spot. I’ve been a frequent customer at The Living Room for about 6-7 years now. The first time I had brunch there I was hooked. The comfy couches and multiple TVs along with being encouraged to wear my PJs in public make it irresistible. Portion sizes are great, the food is delish (I’d recommend the cinnamon apple French toast or the chocolate chip pancakes), and the drinks will creative and generous (JB Special thank you very much). There’s no place I’d rather lounge around on a lazy Sunday to watch a game and get my hangover fix.
