WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Hair in my coffee, cream dumped on me, asked to leave a little over an hour into it so they could seat more people. We still had drinks! I lost it at that point and was told by Lisa that the check would be taken care of. I told her we had already paid and she said dont worry about it, she would take care of it. After I got home I thought it was weird because we didnt get a receipt stating that or anything so I called and Lisa said she was busy and would call back. No call. I called back and was told it wasnt being taken care of, she didnt have time to deal with it, and basically tough shit. Refused to let me speak to a manager or the owner and wouldnt even give me their names. We were told it would be taken care of to get us out of there so they could seat more people. If thats not bad enough, the place is small so you wait outside to be seated which isnt great when it’s winter in Boston. Oh and let me tell you about the food, not good either. The lobster in the benedict was old, dry, and was VERY fishy smelling aka not fresh. Word of advice: literally go anywhere else.
The food here never disappoints. I’ve been coming here for 3 years and haven’t had a meal that wasn’t music to my tastebuds. If it weren’t for the line and unpredictable wait times this place would be 5 stars.
Went on Saturday, was told it would be 20 minute wait for a table for 2. After 20 minutes was told it would be another 30 ! They should just be honest. Now having breakfast at Pauli’s and it is great
Awesome breakfast! We had Benedict’s in a blanket, ham and cheese omelet and chocolate chip pancakes in our party! Everyone enjoyed ther breakfast! A little pricey, but good quality! Service was great too. Would visit again!
Ordered a spinach salad w/ chicken. So freaking good! My hubby got steak tips & they were just as awesome. Everything was very tasty!
Brunch. My search for Boston brunch is over. After spending too much money in Beacon Hill, riding trains to Cambridge, and waiting for restaurants to open in Back Bay, I finally found the perfect spot. Very quaint, open early, huge portions, and priced well.My only complaint, the beer selection is limited to Harpoon IPA, UFO, and some watered down national brands.
This past Saturday. I have to say I read the reviews and did not wait it was 9 am. But i agree with everyone the menu is AMAZING.Our waitress a classic Boston girl was sweet and knew the menu. Our food took a while too come out but when it did it was oooohhh gosh amazing .It did take 20m to get our pre breakfast french toast sticks.after that my North End omlette was worth the 15 bucks. And my wife had Beneditc in bed She was awed being a chef.Def will be back hope to see u again classic boston waitress. (but she couldnt tell us anything about the city)
