This Italian restaurant is on the corner of Parmenter Street and Hanover Street in Little Italy, North End. The front door is on Parmenter. We originally were looking for pizza in the area, but stumbled across this cozy family restaurant and ended up trying it for dinner. Typical of the North End, street parking is tough to find so I would recommend Taxi, Uber, or parking at one of the public garages and taking a stroll. We were greeted and seated quickly by a very friendly hostess who also ended up being our waitress. The decor was rather dated, but comfortable and with just enough room between tables that we werent bumping into other patrons when getting up. Prior to ordering, we were given fresh Italian bread with butter and a small bowl of olive oil with spices. The bread and olive oil were very tasty and we had to slow down eating it, because it was so good, as to not fill up. The menu had several typical Italian dishes and there were interesting specials such as veal and other meat entrees. We ordered linguine with white clam sauce and gnocchi with chicken. These entrees were in the $16-19 range and typical; however some of the house specialties were around $24. Salads were not included as part of the entrees. I must say the linguine dish was everything I expected. I felt like it was worth every bit of $16 and I would get it again, if I returned to the same restaurant. The portion was appropriate and I ended up with about a quarter of it leftover, which I happily took home. My daughter very much enjoyed the gnocchi with white sauce. I thought hers was too cheesy but she was delighted with it. Since gnocchi is more filling, she had a bit more left over. Overall, two very good entrees. I think what made this so memorable for us was the service we received from our waitress. She was very warm and welcoming. I would rate the food as 4-1/4 stars for taste and value and the same for the service.

Started off with bread and olive oil which was really good. The appetizer of broccoli, salami, spinach, mushroom, and other stuff was also good. The pasta with chicken felix was good but a little salty. Little expensive but lots of food.

If you need to find a place to eat in Little Italty pick this place! Joe – the owner – is amazing and makes you feel part of the family! The food is to die for! Ask for there off menu specials and this amazing oil sauce to dip your bread in! All the entrees are plenty of food to split entrees with adults and you will feel it’s a full portion! Such a great place with great italian food! Will definitely come back and visit Joe at Pagliuca’s restaurant next time I’m in Boston!
