GO!!!. Excellent food and service, nice bar, crowded but not too loud. Manager/owner was very keen to be sure everything was right for the customers. The bartender, Ann, accommodated our vegan diet, not an easy feat! We will be back!
Very good food. Went to Ricardo’s for dinner last night, was worth the walk to find it! As always the food was excellent. Not sure why people go to Italian restaurants and order STEAK, (hello!! If you want to dine on steak, go to a steakhouse….and here’s your sign) Antipasto was delicious as were the salads and the veal scaloppine was DEVINE….and everything went great with our Chianti! We didn’t have room for dessert and were pleasantly uncomfortably full! When asked if we needed anything else? I suggested a pillow and blanket. Thanks again for a wonderful dinner experience, we’ll be back!
Disappointing. We waited 45 minutes for a table, thinking that was a good sign that the food was amazing. Wrong. It’s the slow service that caused the wait. By the time we sat down there were only a few other tables eating. Still, the server was slow, forgot drinks and the kitchen produced mediocre food. Steaks were over $30 and lacked flavor, we’re over cooked. My shrimp were flavorless, except for the cheese that they were covered in. Best item was the meatball special. My daughters plate of plain pasta with butter was $20!!! Overall a disappointing choice, we should have gone somewhere else.
I have been here twice already and each time the servers wee humble and decent. The food is very good ol school, I had the stuffed calamari linguini with a red sauce one of my favorites you don’t get hardly at any Italian resturant. I’m not from Biston but when I come I always try to make a stop hear. A very good atmosphere. For the price you can’t beat it.
Excellent. I was at this restaurant a couple weeks ago and the food and service were excellent. The only thing I could suggest for improvement is to serve ice cold beer.
