There are so many Italian restaurants in North End- some more authentic than others.I’m Italian- I know Italian food.Ambience was fine and the menu read well.I think that the dishes have been modified to accomodate non Italian palates. My husbands wedge salad was ordinary. My Burrata was divine and I asked for prosciutto which was very good too.My husbands gnocchi were not freshly or home made and the sauce was too creamy/rich.My pasta was well cooked but the tomato and basil sauce was not developed so the tomato was still very tart. The tiramisu was good/ coffee ok.We’ve had better in North End. Next!
Really nice Italian restaurant with a very warm and cozy rooftop patio that has Christmas lights hanging across. I had the special lobster ravioli in tomato and shrimp sauce and added some goat cheese on top which tasted out of this world! Definitely one of the best Italian places in North End!
We had a wonderful lunch. The ceasar salad and grilled shrimp was delicious. I had a shrimp pasta dish that was amazing. Wonderful service. Great atmosphere.
Top to bottom, great dinner. Perfect Italian traditional. Waiter made the experience.
The restaurant is good overall, service could be improved a bit (had to order water 3 times) but the food was delicious.
Review. Very disappointed in meal. Ordered the Risotto listed as ‘market’ price. The market price was ridiculous especially since one of the main ingredients of the dish was not in it, namely, the asparagus. It was replaced with zucchini. Since when does a vegetable risotto dish cost $26? Didn’t want to send the dish back and get something else because restaurants don’t like to get dishes sent back to the kitchen. Just as disappointing was the Pomodoro Caprese at $14 for four slices of tomatoes….come on, that’s just as ridiculous as the price of the risotto. This restaurant is a ripoff. Better off going to another place for dinner.
Favorite place in the north end by far. Love the food. Everything is made in house. Everything is delicious and has a fantastic night atmosphere as well. Great bar upstairs during the summer with a lovely rooftop to eat outside or have a drink. Staff is great, knowledgeable and food is amazing.
