Even though Thinking Cup is a local coffee chain, it’s still one of the better coffee houses around. The consistent line also demonstrates that, regardless of the day of the week. I stopped in to grab a coffee and get some work done one day, finding a cozy booth in the back to work in. I drank a cortado, which I was thrilled to find at this coffee house. It was quite good overall. The price was reasonable as well. Their food offerings also looked delicious. My only compliant was that my particular cashier was very short and not as friendly. I suppose that could’ve been due to a rush.
The same way I recommend La Colombe in NY instead of Starbucks, I would recommend this place if you are in Boston. You can actually feel the taste of the coffee 🙂
Bad coffee, good breakfast. Not the place for a good coffee but I must say their breakfast burrito hit the spot! A nice cheap non-Italian option in the heart of little Italy.
I’ll pass…… Great location and nice space inside. But the small mocha ($4.13) was not good at all, the chocolate they used did not have a smooth rich dark taste that I look for. Service wise, the staff couldn’t answer any of my questions – I was wondering if they were even working there! They weren’t the nicest and they weren’t that knowledgeable. So unfortunately I can’t say I’d go back.
Excellent coffee, very good sandwiches, and many nice touches. I was served quickly as well. Combining Thinking Cup and Mike’s would be over the moon.
Awesome interior, ambiance!. PROS: – Unique interior, artsy wall installations and ambiance overall. Nice cozy little place, that don’t get too loud. – Good and pastry overall. The menu not too overwhelming, just right for the cafe.CONS: – I wish they had canoli with some sweet stuffing! Like Mike’s Pastry does next door. :)That’s it. The place is just totally purfect!
