Excellent Restaurant. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was inviting and a street side table made the experience very enjoyable, as we experienced a warm North End evening. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in town.
Absolutely wonderful food and fantastic service, smaller place but worth any wait! Best tiramisu I have ever had!
Squeeze in if you can. This place might seat 20 people, but try to squeeze in a visit to this little gem. We walked in without a reservation, but they accommodated the 5 of us with a smile. Lovely wine list, best caeser salad ever, amazing chicken parm and ravioli. Cream sauce worth the calories.
Great place to grab a wonderful dinner. I had the gnocchi con ragu di salsiccia and it was delicious. The ragout was so light yet flavorful.
Genuine Italian. If you are in the North End expecting a giant plate of spaghetti and meatballs, you should probably avoid this place. On the other hand, if you’ve eaten real Italian food before and enjoyed the fresh ingredients and regionally authentic cuisine, this one of the few places in the neighborhood where you can find it. We started in the small but comfortable and friendly bar with a smartly crafted cocktail, one of the best versions of the Sidecar I’ve tasted recently, along with an absolutely addictive plate of veal with tuna and caper sauce, almost like a salty-creamy version of carpaccio. I could have honestly eaten this dish all night. Once we took our table, our entire party elected to go with the Prix-Fixe menu, three courses with wine pairings for $50. While I probably would have preferred more adventurous pairings than the quotidian table whites that we received, they were at least generously poured and perfectly serviceable. Since the prix fixe menu changes frequently, I won’t bother to detail each course, suffice to say they were authentic and quite delicious. The only real disappointment was desserts – a rather dull selection of all the usual suspects, and the bread pudding we eventually chose didn’t measure up to the description on the menu. I should have skipped the dessert and ordered a plate of their truffled pasta instead!
Sat with a party of 9 people. My dish the pumpkin ravioli, it tasted like liquorish and was extremely sweet. Because my dish did not tast good, I asked my sister for a bite of hers, she ordered the lobster with linguine, lobster was over cooked and it was soo spicy, it literally burned my throat, I couldn’t taste any flavor, it was just hottt! I then asked my father if I could try his dish, it was angel hair pasta with truffle and shallots, it was over truffled! I love truffle and it would take a lottt of truffle for me to say this but the dish was not good. The meal was below subpar. I’m convinced this restaurant does not have professional cooks/chefs.
