Great food, no space!. Agree… great tasting food… but no space to enjoy it!
Amanouz has great food, but nowhere to eat it! The interior decoration is colorful and the menu is astoundingly large for such a small kitchen, but the dining space is much too small – finding a seat becomes a stressful competition of the fittest. Dessert is the best!!!!
Best in town. Amanouz Cafe keeps on delivering authentic, fresh and reasonably priced food. This place is a favorite of the people who actually live in this town. The coffee is good too. Try the chicken kabob sandwich or the Amanouz salad with tabouli, hummus and eggplant. Delicious and nutritious too. This place has a nice feel too. It is fabulous without being pretentious at all. Love it.
Solid Food, Affordable prices. It would be difficult to find a place that marries quality food with value better than Amanouz. I like the sanwiches, kebabs and my favorite is the Royal Feast (includes falafal, hummus and more)… It isn’t fast food, you might wait 10 or 15 minutes for a sandwich, but it is worth it. I suggest ordering mint tea to accompany your meal.
There is authentic Moroccan food here!. I go here to get a Moroccan food fix. Some of the dishes are very much like I had when I lived in Morocco for 18 months. My favorites are the Harira stew- chickpeas and lentils in a flavorful tomato base broth finished with a squeeze of lemon. I love eating the vegetable cous cous with scallops and to especially mash up the softened zucchinni and eggplant into the couse cous with every bite. The green tea provides a fix of the cordial like taste of the traditional Moroccan green tea.
Cozy and Warm. Interesting and well-prepared food at inexpensive prices. Simple but pleasing decor.
Amazing Authentic Moroccan Food. Having spent the last 10 years researching Mediterranean Diet and writing a cookbook, it is a pleasure to know that one of the most authentic and delicious Mediterranean restaurants is in my home town. I would highly recommend any of the dishes, but my favorite is the Tagine Kefta, a mix of fluffy couscous, spicy peppers, potatoes and perfectly cooked ground beef. It comes with a slightly spicy red sauce that is poured on to create the perfect, mouth watering dish. Amanouz is also open for breakfast and offers omelets with greens and other vegetables.
