Probably the best food Ive ever had in the area with unique drinks. Dont let the farm to table, humble appearance fool you – the flavors come together beautifully and the staff is well educated and friendly. Couldnt recommend a restaurant more!!
Great French in Downtown Northampton. We had two meals at Bistro Les Gras, just to make sure we were right the first time. We were. The food was excellent; I had duck on one occasion and lamb on another. My husband had the beef both times, so we were able to see the consistency from visit to visit – the quality on the second visit did not fall short of the first, as can sometimes be the case. Small and intimate setting, decent wine list, unpretentious in spite of it all. I love it here – I’d say this ranks #2, tied with Alina’s in South Deerfield, falling second to TJ Buckley’s in Brattleboro.
