Unorganized outdated servers. Food and drink orders. should never be taken at the same time. With only thirteen booths there is no excuse for this service or better yet lack there of.
Another Motorcycle Destination. Great breakfast stop on a short, pleasant bike scoot from the Berkshires. Excellent Swiss cheese omelette had all the marks of proper preparation; that is, pan-fried and fluffy, NOT flat-topped on the grill and folded 10 times into what others pass off as a greasy facsimile of an omelette. Red potato home-fries were cube-cut and somewhat oily; no crispy bits, which I would prefer. I thought the hotcakes may have been just a tad pricey, until I saw the real maple syrup on the table, so that was a must-order on the side. The price was completely justified in my short stack of medium-sized cakes served with real butter chips, and thoroughly soaked in the aforementioned elixir of New England springtime. Busy location on Route 5 has nothing scenic to offer, but it’s on the way to everywhere Pioneer Valley. Competent waitstaff, clean, excellent coffee. Expanded from an authentic diner, so you can choose to sit at the counter and soak up the nostalgia if you please. I’m looking forward to stopping by again.
For Diner Food, this is the best. If you are in the mood for diner food, this is the best in Northampton. The broasted chicken is everything you wish it would be. Crowded at meal time – expect a wait. And best of all, there is a large-scale model train chugging along a track above the diners — a great place to take someone under five!
Yummy. Love the breakfast there, best omlets in town. Broasted chicken to die for. And pot roast too!!! Many many choicesvery average prices.
