Great vegan breakfast, lunch and baked goods. This is a nice cafe, bakery, lunch and brunch place. It has all vegan food, baked goods and even a Sunday brunch. I recommend any of the breakfast items but my favorites are the omelette, the slam (pancakes, tofu scramble and potatoes) and the Benediction (a tofu and tempeh breakfast sandwich with an amazing sauce.) The baked goods are amazing including the sunflower oat bread, the cinnamon roll, if you are lucky enough to catch them, the brownies, peanut butter chocolate bars and the assortment of cupcakes that change often but some of the favorites like peanut butter are usually available. My favorite lunch items are the nachos which come loaded with vegan cheese, the best chili ever and avocado and also the love noodles. The lemon tahini salad dressing is awesome. This place also really shines with its specials. I have ordered some lovely savory pastries and tarts and they were always amazing. I don’t know what people mean about the staff because they have always been very friendly, helpful and attentive to me and my fiance and even remember us when we come. I have gone here many times and if I could afford to eat out more and my fiance’s schedule worked out we would be here most Sundays for brunch and some other days for lunch each week for sure.

Sunday brunch is unmissable! Great sandwiches and bakery items. Starr, the owner, is a great guy and talented artist – his previous location (Fire and Water) was also awesome and helped develop a strong local vegetarian community.

This is the best vegan place in western Massachusetts. Especially good is the bakery – cupcakes cookies brownies muffins and scones – the specials are always delish and the regular menu of soups sandwiches and other cafe fare is healthy and tasty. Add to that the big open space with lots of natural light and you have the perfect place for a hearty meal. Oh yes don’t forget the amazing Sunday brunch! pancakes waffles French toast and even a vegan omelette!
