Great Drinks – Horrible everything else. The drinks are great. A bit expensive, but manageable. The staff gossip more than high school girls and you can hear them as a customer. Some of the staff are friendly, very few, but many come off as very fake and scripted. As we sat at the bar, The gay looking skinny spanish bartender came off a bit cocky and rude. The food is disgusting, and over priced and you’re better off going to McDonalds.
Used to be terrific! Lately, very disappointing.. We were big, big fans of Mama Iguana’s and recommended it to a ton of people, but the last couple of times we ate there, it was just an enormous disappointment. The last time we ate there, the service was slow (and the restaurant was not full at all), the food was so so, and the waitress was rude. Embarrassing since we brought friends with us!
Just tried this place yesterday and it was great! For the two of us we ate well for $22 and couldve taken home a good amount. The chimichanga was delicous my fiance (a picky eater) didnt want onion or peppers in hos meal and they worked with him to give him what he wanted. The atomoshphere was fantastic as well.
Overpriced but with some decent options. I will admit that this place is overpriced, but they have a decent happy hour app menu. Their mojitos are great, but again, way too expensive at 8$ a piece. I had a take on tortilla soup that was plesantly lime and cilantro flavored, with a thin broth rather than the thicker one I am used to.
Not fit for human consumption. Even a coyote might get sick eating some of this food. Spoiled, curled, ammoniac fish tacos shouldn’t be served. This kitchen doesn’t give a damn.
AWESOME house margaritas.
Place has gone way down hill. Wouldn’t be surprised if it closes within the year. No more free refills on soda, (pretty bogus if u ask me) , quality of food not there anymore, plus menu prices recently jacked up. Too bad used to be a great spot.
