My wife and I have been customers of the Teapot since it first opened. Years ago the restaurant was excellent. Over the past year or so, it has been in a constant state of decline. The past two times that I ordered the take out duck, It looked and tasted like an old shoe. With four orders of take out, they included one pair of chop sticks. The last three take out orders, I asked for extra ginger, which they did not put in the bag. This is the first time in my life (I’m 64 years old) that I have ever written a review of any kind. To be honest, it’s too bad that this restaurant has slipped to this level. Try the Zen restaurant across the street.
Just terrible. Awful food, rude staff. it’s super overpriced, not worth the energy. i’ve given this restaurant countless chances and they never fail to disappoint me. the noodles are okay, the meat is disgusting, and the vegetables are soggy. no distinguishable flavour in any dish. i ordered two very different entres and both were slimy in texture, and plainly salty in taste. 0 stars.
Great food, OK atmosphere, adequate service
I want to like it, but I really can’t say I do. The meat has been pretty consistently awful every time I’ve been (and I keep trying). They charge far too much for subpar food. If they lowered their prices it might be worth it, but I realize they have downtown rent to pay and a nice looking space to keep up. My sushi enjoying friends seem to like their sushi, so try that if you want to go!
Horrible Customer Service, rude staff. I was a regular customer at this restaurant for several months. I ordered probably once a week. They were always wonderful with keeping onions out of my food (I have an onion allergy). Today though, I picked up my fried rice rice and it had large chunks of hard uncooked rice in it. I called and asked for a new one, and the manager was not only rude but refused to give me a new one or refund my money. Horrible customer service.
Yummy. Great food made to the order with fresh ingredients very helpful stuff and very affordable prices. I’ll be back.
Terrible portions. Ordered a pu pu platter for 2 and the portions were ridiculously small!! and not even that great!! If I were to go to any other restaurant and order a pu pu platter I would have left overs and enough to give my son who is 3 and doesnt eat much of anything some!!! After paying 30 Plus dollars for a meal that didn’t even fulfill my hunger, I give this place a BIG thumbs down!!
