Failing grade. Though vege…. Failing grade. Though vegetables are cut decoratively at Thai Garden they are dried out and undercooked. Chicken is fibrous, tough and tasteless and no piddle pot sauces can revive either. The chef is either drunk, stupefied or dead to let such dreck out of the kitchen. Service is efficient and the room is pleasant enough.05 Jun, 2009Can be variable My nephews…. Can be variable. My younger nephew’s favorite is the chicken satay. Nice atmosphere.

Bland food, seating socially awkward. I love Thai food, and really miss getting decent Thai from when I lived on the west coast.I’ve been to Thai Garden many times, always hoping it’s improved. The food here is bland except for a lot of sugar. The dishes don’t even attempt authenticity. The seafood all tastes previously frozen. No amount of vegetable carving and other garnishes will ever make up for it! It makes me a little sad to think people go here and think this is what Thai food is like. They also seat you right next to other diners (i.e., the tables are actually touching) even when the place is empty. If I wanted to sit that close to strangers I would’ve just taken a crowded bus instead of going out to dinner. It’s really awkward and hard to have a conversation.

Decent Thai. They have decent Thai food here. The hot sauce that is served along side the food is worth the visit. Helpful and attentive waitstaff. The noodles were a little on the oily side. With so many other options in NoHo, it will probably be awhile before we head back.

Crab Rangoon, Thai iced tea, yellow curry with chicken = Perfection! Great atmosphere & friendly staff. Affordable.
