Party of 4 dined on a recent Saturday and we were all amazed by the food, Cajun blackened salmon, not too spicy, perfectly prepared with creamiest risotto and the ahi tuna. it has been weeks and we are still talking about it. Service was good and atmosphere cheerful, but little noticed beyond our plates. this is the only place we will order salmon, can not wait to go back.

Went to Mohoney’s in Orleans on Cape Cod tonight , it was fantastic. Great fresh seafood served with mash and fresh veg which was so good after so much of the fried food we’ve been served. Atmoshpere was buzzing too.
I ordered the blackened salmon with barley risotto. Nice spicy sauce accompanied the fish, which was very nicely prepared. In all not a fantastic restaurant, as its pub-front entry and casual atmosphere belie the menu and its price tag. Surely comparable places on the cape are comparably priced, so it’s not a bad value for tasty, good quality food. (Hint: pair the salmon with a nice malbec.)
