Finally, it took close to a year, but I managed to find some delicious bagels in the Boston area. The service is lackluster, butif you had to deal with a bunch of hungoverMassholes or people intent ona gluten binge, you might not be in thebest moodeither. Finding decent Bagles with Lox I’ll put up with close to anything. Bagel World’s portions are huge so bring an appetite and expect to wait on a long line. The bagels are big anddense, withan appropriate ratio of air bubbles. Also, their smear spread is out of this world.
Good Eat Horrible Service. Let me start off by saying that I have only been to two locations the Sylvan St and the Newbury St. The staff is a bunch of miserable people who do not listen to your order first 2 times they ask you for it. Its completely unorganized. I use to work at the bagel place on highland ave in Salem and we had a method to our madness. They clearly do not. You’ll find yourself yelling over employees and other patrons just to get your order. And at one point my order was completely wrong when I got it every time. I only go because I like their bagels and its close to work. Call Ahead service is ridiculous you call get hung up on then you call again and you get a busy signal then when you finaly reach someone they put you on hold (once for 10 minutes at which point i was just holding because i thought it was a joke!) the order taker on the phone is more miserable than an Rmv employee. Asking to split a tab is like rocket science to them. and thats about everything i have to complain about lol I usually hate ppl that do this stuff but I was scorned once again today.
