A Hole in One (in the wall)!. A coworker, knowing I have a thing for burgers recommended this place to me some time ago. Was in the mood so I GPSed my way there. This place is easy to find but easier to drive right by. On the second time around the block, I found it. A third time around had me parking right around the corner and I went in. My first thought was, get out! The darkly lit, long bar right at the door suggested that this place was focused on drinks and the food was for people well into a buzz and not caring for quality. I immediately began to wonder, how old were the frozen patties? Why was there a picture of rings on the web site but not on the menu? How many teeth does the cook have? I noticed a chalk board opposite the kitchen area with a list of foods that were way more sophisticated than crappy pub grub, so I stayed and took a chance. Man, so glad I did. I sat at the bar right next to the kitchen, just because. The server was nice, she didnt offer to be my soul mate or anything but she was friendly enough. My colossal, 10oz. bacon cheese burger was house made and grilled to order. The onion, tomato and lettuce that accompanied it were garden fresh, all on a soft roll. The bacon was crispy and the cheese perfectly melted. I could say that the roll was a bit too wimpy to stand up to all that beef but eh, why bother? My burger was juicy on the inside, charred on the outside and, well, I was as happy as a clam. A clam that walked into a bar and ordered a burger that is. Ooh, I think theres a joke hidden there somewhere. One day Ill find it. They did indeed have onion rings. Giddy up again, they were fresh, well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. They were the kind you would expect from non-touristy clam shack. Got a bit chatty with the cook at the end, who had taken over for the guy I originally saw when I walked in. Both looked clean and had teeth so it wasnt a big deal. I got the feeling that this establishment takes pride in their food and it showed. As stated, this is a big burger; I doubt Ill be eating dinner tonight. If you come here for a burger bring your appetite or at least an app for it on your phone. I will definitely go back. Might even try something else, ah, who am I kidding? Im going back for a burger.

Horrible steak tips. I order steak tips and lamb tips over cooked and dry. I ate more ketchup then steak. I went back tonight after x mass shopping for take out and they denied me take out because it was a weekend. I told them to cash in my gift certificate so i could go else where to eat. They said no. My opinion of brodies is there food and attitudes suck….. I have a $55 gift certificate that im taking offers on for who ever wants to eat some over cooked food!!!!!!!!!!!
