Everything was wrong. Waitress didn’t take our order correctly. One order was for a meal of liver and onions and what was brought out was liver wrapped in bacon with no onions (like an appetizer). Also ordered was a steak cooked medium well that came out with blood on the plate and had to be sent back. Not a good experience.
Food was bad. Service was good. The reception was pleasant. The meal sucked. The bean and cottage cheese that came before the meal were tastless and the crackers were stale. I had the stuffed shrimp. The shrimp was rubbery and overcooked and on absolutely tastless. Everything else was bland. What is up with the big, pecan rolls served with the other rolls? It was a fairly large amount of food served at a resaonable price. And, not flavorful. I hear the bar has reasonably priced drinks.
OMG….this restaurant is terrific!!! This restaurant has been the highlight of my northward-bound trip. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting MA.
