Again, not impressed. Not only that, but I was kinda disappointed. We opted to try this place due to the ratings, instead of the Sea Witch, and wish we hadn’t. For some reason I had expected a restaurant, not a fast food joint. My fried shrimp platter was full of fries, and quite a few tasteless shrimp. The ketchup didn’t help, but they didn’t have cocktail sauce. I did enjoy the thinly shredded, vinegary tasting slaw however. That was new to me. My co-worker had the roast beef and said it was just okay, and compared to an Arby’s sandwich.

Great Fishermans Platter. Pleasantly surprised, this place is great. Very nicely done. I got the Super Special (aka Combination / Fisherman’s / plate / patter) for a take-out, and it was piled high over the plate. Not just loaded with fries, which were good and tasty.. and topped off with very good onion rings. There was a great mix of scallops, shrimp, clams and fish.Tatar sauce was very good (wish they put more than one in the take-out bag). This place EASILY, beat the Sea Witch on the other side of town for the same meal.Aug 28 2013

LOVE This Place!!. I have been frequenting this place for about 10 years now. It’s busy almost every time I go. Why? Well, the set up, for one, is perfect. You walk into a room where the menu is written clearly on the board, you can see the staff bustling around cooking the food right in front of you, and there is a separate person who answers the phone and works the register, not one person touching all the money and the phone and then cooking your food. The dining area is away from the waiting and ordering area, so you don’t have people lining up to order standing right next to your table. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, whether its ordering food, or asking for directions. They are not just nice to the customers, but to each other as well, working as a team. As an added bonus, they stay open late to service the night life crowd. All I can say about the food is that I am a connoisseur of fried seafood who has grown up on the North Shore and has yet to find anything as good for the price. One possible downfall, for tourists, is that it’s not anywhere they would typically go to. I feel the owner could easily move locations or open a separate location in one of the busier towns and get tons of business. However, as a local, it’s kind of nice to have a place that is off the beaten path, away from all the typical tourist trap stuff. They certainly have enough loyal locals to keep them open for years to come.

Delicious seafood, some of the best I’ve ever had. Their tarter sauce is 100% the best!!
