Food was good but management are beyond prejudice. The co owner Lil asked everyone in the restaurant, at every single table how they were doing expect us (The only people of color there). The staff kept staring at us, i thought it was because I had on a faux fur coat at 5pm or something else. The waitress, we had was pleasant well basically she had no choice she had to get a tip right?. We would never go there again, we felt literally out of place. Worst feeling ever. Our plan is to support our local city restaurants but I guess we will be sticking to Boston. The drinks are horrible the Hurricane, pain killer and melon daiquiri tasted like cough medicine, AWFUL. The food is decent, nothing obviously like Boston restaurants. Will never go there again, and I’m taking my generous tips elsewhere.
Great dinner. We were a party of 4 and Dylan was our waiter and he was great. Attentive, friendly and professional. We met Lil who was also very informative and friendly. One person got the ravioli special, one the prime rib special, one the blue cheese and bacon scallops and the other the enchilada style burrito. All loved their meals, the vegetables weren’t the best, in my opinion, the green beans had a smoky flavor, which isn’t my fave and the roasted veggies didn’t really have any flavor. The Poutine was the favorite of the night. The coffee was okay, not great. The coconut cake was just okay but the ice cream sandwich was loved by those who got it.
