    My family has ordered many times from Pizza Pizzaz and have been happy with the service and food, even recommending them to neighbors & friends and using them for parties, etc. However, we placed an order on May 15 that will be our last. At approx. 7:20, we placed an order on their website as we have done many times in the past. The estimated wait time was 45 minutes, which seemed normal. Around 8:20, my husband called to check in as we had not received our order. He was told by the employee on the phone that they had not received any online orders. Thinking we may have not submitted the order correctly, we double checked & found that we had received an email confirmation as well as a charge on our credit card. I called back and spoke to the same employee (Lisa) and explained above. She had what I can only describe as a not my problem attitude. She went on to tell me that the online orders go to her bosss phone and she was currently in Brazil (?). At that time, she told me that she would have her manager (Julie) call me back to resolve but they werent going to make our order because it was 8:30 and they closed at 9 PM. After we hung up, it occurred to me that Lisa promised me a call back from the manager but did not ask my name, phone number, or anything about my order. I called back for a 3rd time and she spoke to me on one line while she was either speaking or texting her manager simultaneously. They did in fact find our order and said they would make it right away, but were out of the Greek style pizza we ordered, but can make Italian style, OK? Not, Im sorry we are out of what you ordered, can we make this for you instead?Our order ended up taking over 2 hours, 3 phone calls and wasnt even what we ordered in the first place. We were not apologized to (except for by the delivery driver who was understanding about the situation and stayed late to deliver our order), and have not been contacted by Julie, the manager. If this were my business, I would not have been communicating with my employee with an unhappy customer on the other line. In my opinion, she should have called us directly instead of playing telephone and at the very least offered an apology or order discount. I will say that the food we received was hot and fresh, but was not what we ordered. This was a mixup their end that could have been resolved easily, but was not and unfortunately have lost a customer.
