Awesome steaks at Alba…. If you’re in Quincy, right outside of Boston, and craving an awesome steak, Alba is your place. As you walk into the main dining room, you can peer into the plexi-glass cooler and see all of the meat cuts dry aging in-house, right before your eyes. Alba’s cold seafood appetizers, like the shrimp cocktail and oysters are extremely fresh, and the crab cakes are packed with crab, not fillers. The fried calamari w/ jalapeno slices is incredible as well. Their prime-aged steaks are cooked to perfection and super tender – I recommend the filet or the veal chop. All of the sides, including the mac-and-cheese, potato lyonnaise, brussell sprouts, and fries were all amazing. The wine selection is good and very reasonably priced. Alba’s staff was very friendly and accommodating. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience…Well done, Alba.

Gem outside of Boston. This is the only consistent finer dining restaurant outside of Boston. The food is presented well and there is an excellent tapas style menu available at the bar or up on the deck. The hidden deck is the best dining area in good weather, and has heat lamps in the cold. I dine here often for both the excellent service and good food. It will be more expensive than a bar, but that should be expected. Save the headache of parking downtown.

Decent place -Overpriced. Food and atmosphere are good but thought it was overpriced for being out of downtown Boston
