Awesome Cupcakes!. I don’t know what bakery that other reviewer was thinking of but it could not have been Babycakes. She makes the most delicioso cupcakes with yummy whipped cream and other fillings inside and wikid good buttercream and creamcheese frostings. Worth a major detour to visit her!
Love this place!. After reading Karen’s very unfair review I have to take exception. I have purchased hundreds of cupcakes there for my family and friends and these are some of the best cupcakes I have ever tasted. The chocolate cake is as choclatey as can be and is a chocolate lover’s dream. As for the frosting being too sweet, I guess she didn’t ask questions as they make several different frostings there for the variety of cupcakes they sell including butter cream, peanut butter, cream cheese, whipped cream and ganache. Too bad she didn’t ask as they are very nice about explaining what is on each cake. As for them being dry, in the dozens I and my family has eaten, there may have been a few that were slightly dry. baking is not a exact science and once in a while a batch might come out with a dry one or two but to say she got a box of dry ones is hard for me to believe. BTW if she had gone back in and said something I’m betting they would have replaced them, the owner is very much interested in satisfying her customers.
I don’t know what all the fuss is about. These cupcakes are dry and stale tasting. The frosting is excessively sweet. I bought 1/2 dozen and tried a variety if flavors. None were tasty.
