Horrible! Over an hour wait for food. It came cold. Waitress didn’t offer any excuse for delay or terrible service. It was not busy. This wasn’t the first bad experience there, but it will certainly be our last. No more chances.
Inn At Bay Pointe. Today, Sunday January 22, is my husband’s 70th birthday. I invited our family to join us to celebrate his big day. The Inn at Bay Pointe, at 64 Washington Court, Quincy Point, MA did not disappoint. The table was impeccably set. The buffet was set up so that you weren’t crowded when trying to choose your foods. Oh my goodness, there was so many choices. My favorite is the waffles because they are made right. The syrup is heated and adds a nice touch. At the omelet station, all eggs are fresh, and the chef makes it to what you want. There is fruit and all kinds of pastries and deserts to choose from. On the other side, they have baked ziti, delmonico potatoes, lobster newburg,a chinese dish, fish, and a carving station with baked ham and prime rib. It really is superb. We will be back again and again. There was thirteen in our party and the waitstaff was wonderful. It turned out to be a delightful day all the way around. The buffet is $17.95 and you get your moneys worth.23 Mar, 2011P.J.’s Country Club. P.J.’s is located on Route 3A in Scituate. It used to be the old Howard Johnson’s (which I still miss). Seven of us went to dinner. Four of us ordered the steak dinner, and everything was perfect. We all had DelMonico potatoes which we made to perfection. The other ladies had chicken and fish dishes, it was excellent and not too expensive. We either had wine or Manhatten’s with our dinner and desert after. Our server was terrific, we were seated promptly, the atmosphere was wonderful, the restaurant was clean, and there is plenty of parking. I would go back again……07 Mar, 2011The Inn at Bay Pointe. On Sunday March 6th, we had my dear daughter’s birthday there. We got seated promptly. They do a brunch on Sunday that is $14.95 a plate. We got our coffee and juice right away. Their buffet is set up in a function room. It was very easy to negotiate. Perfectly cooked homefries, fluffy scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage perfect. the waffles were the best I ever ate. Topped off with strawberries. Then they had a carving station with roast beef or pork, very delicious. Delmonico potatoes, chicken, fish, lasagna. It was all excellent. Service superb, dishes cleared in a timely manner. Our server was excellent. They also have a piano player for background music. All in all, we would go back again.
I found this restaurant by accident when I went with a friend to the marina to help him with his boat. When we took a lunch break we walked to this restaurant nestled in the Marina right on the water. I had offered to buy lunch and when I saw this place I thought it would be pricey but it was anything but. We chose to eat at the bar with a water view. Although the dinning room also had a great view. II had the clam chowder and the muscles, some of the best I ever had. Our server was very friendly and delivered our meals quickly. They have reciently added two huge aquariums filled with beautiful tropical fish. I’ve made Bay Pointe my preference for lunch or a special night out with family and friends.
