There are a ton of other better places. I went there last night with a friend. we both ordered the boneless short ribs combo, fish paste, and milk tea. mine with boba and hers without…food came out looking pretty normal/average, like shabu zen’s and kaze’s in chinatown. I thought the veggie dish was a bit small. they could have definitely afforded to give us more napa. we got the regular soup base. tasted fine as well. the part that puzzled me was that they brought in the drinks from outside. huh? did they go somewhere else to buy them? it didn’t just happen with our drinks. it happened with all other tables that ordered a shake, etc. the wait staff was very polite and nice and often checked on us to make sure everything was okay. she did turn down the heat though when we had just started cooking cuz the soup was boiling. come on now, gotta give us a chance to put our stuff in…so we had to turn it back up. no biggie. what really annoyed me really had nothing to do with the restaurant. it was the table that was next to us. this one guy wouldn’t stop staring. he didn’t look like he was checking us out. he was just staring. i shoulda punched him in the face.anyways, the waitress brought us the wrong check. there was two of us. she brought us a check with four entrees and a lot of other side dishes. we’re not fat. really. we don’t eat that much.quincy is out of the way for me. i only tried it cuz i happened to be there for something else. i wouldn’t go out of my way to go there. hotpot at home is definitely the way to go

Shabu Hot Pot. This restaurant was great… Not expensive and you get to select the items you want in your hot pot, spices and slowly cook it your self. Better than Little Q in my view. Great addition for Quincy.
