So after hearing about 2jerks on phantom gourmet, wife and I decided to give a try. I ordered the 1/2 rack ribs which were a bit on tough side. Sauce was very good but it was like putting a dress on a pig and calling it beautiful. Wife ordered country fried chicken and we were told 20-25 min as it’s cooked to order. Ok-no problem….wife’s favorite dish. After just 11min, entire meal was delivered to us including 20 min chicken. Wife immediately cut deep to the bone on the drumstick and wouldn’t ya know it, bright red blood squirted on her hands! We sent it back and at this point she had lost her appetite completely. Definitely a terrible first experience. The waiter was very apologetic but a visit from the cook would have been appropriate. Not sure if we will return. Fresh Blood can kill excitement like not much else can. Hopefully they got it together and are taking there time with dishes. Great atmosphere and rocking music was a huge plus. May just stick to drinks in the future. Stevie Ray.
